One-fifth of
companies say vendors’ technical skills matter
When evaluating
technology-based vendors, 20% of IT buyers say technical skills are
the most important factors in their decision making.
Ranking
second on the list is previous experience with the vendor (17%),
followed by features of the service (16%), availability to meet your
deadlines and speed time to market (14%), service-level agreement
(13%), firm’s reputation (7%), rapport with firm’s staff (6%) and
price (6%). Just 3% said no single factor is most important.
